Skype adalah software gratis yang memungkinkan kita membuat panggilan / telepon baik suara maupun video melalui internet. Skype ini sudah cukup popular di Internet namun kita mungkin banyak yang belum mengetahui apa fungsinya dan apa kelebihannya. ketangguhan skype ini juga bisa melakukan panggilan suara dan video-calling, Skype juga bisa Chatting, transfer File dll.

Bagaimana Cara Membuat Akun Skype ..?

2.Isi formulir pendaftaran yang ada

3.Keterangan wajib di isi Cuma yang ada tanda bintangnya ( * )

4.Setelah selesai, klik”I Anree – Continue”

5.Setelah itu kamu akan di tawarkan apakah igin membeli kredit, kredit di sini tujuannya agar kita bisa nelpon ke HP atau telpon rumah jelas dengan pulsa, kalau tidak, tinggal pilih “no thanks, I’d like to download”

Menggunakan skype Call

( video call ) berbicara melalui video

Sebelumnya hal-hal yang diperlukan untuk bisa menggunakan layanan call with skype adalah:

1. Komputer atau Hp (biasanya android) atau Tablet, Notebook/Netbook. jelas

2. Akses internet jelas

3. Earphone (Speaker + Mic. pada HP.Tablet dsb

hal lain kalau anda menggunakan Hp, earphone dan speaker sudah tersedia. Skype juga mendukung panggilan dengan kamera(biasa kita kenal webcam) atau video call with skype.Caranya adalah sebagai berikut:

1. Buka skype dan sign in. Klik di sini untuk sign in.

2. arahkan mouse pada menu navigasi pada pilihan “GET SKYPE”( Berada di Atas)  , maka akan ada pilihan, pilih berdasarkan O.S(Operating System) yang sedang anda gunakan. Misalkan anda memakai komputer/notebook dengan O.S (windows XP/Vista/Seven 7/Windows 8) maka anda klik pada WINDOWS.

3. Lalu klik “Download Skype”.( berada di kiri bawah ).

4. Setelah anda klik link tersebut, maka akan download otomatis.

5. Setelah proses download selesai, maka anda buka hasil download tersebut, ingat yang anda download tersebut adalah master programnya skype, jadi anda untuk menginstall skype harus tetap terhubung internet.

6. setelah itu ada pilih bahasa kamu pada menu yang sudah tersedia

7. klik agree atau setuju

8. tunggu hingga penginstalan selesai

9. Jika proses install sudah selesai, maka secara otomatis skype run atau muncul pada desktop anda (kalau tidak run secara otomatis, silahkan anda buka secara manual), lalu silahkan anda sign dan skype sudah siap anda gunakan.

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) merupakan website yang dikelola pleh Lund

University di Swedia yang memiliki daftar koleksi jurnal-jurnal internasional yang

menyediakan Open Access. Jurnal yang diindex oleh DOJ merupakan jurnal yang

berkualitas, melalui proses peer review atau melalui proses editorial, merupakan jurnal

penelitian dan diterbitkan secara periodical. Jika salah satu dari daftar jurnal tersebut diklik, maka akan menuju ke website koleksi jurnal tersebut.

Langkah-langkah

selengkapnya adalah sebagai berikut :

1. Buka website www.doaj.org

2. Masukkan kata kunci pada form yang disediakan, contohnya mobile application for

tourism lalu klik tombol search

3. Untuk melihat keseluruhan isi artikel jurnal, klik pada link full text, sedangkan jika hanya

ingin melihat abstraknya klik pada link Abstrak

2. GOOGLE SCHOLAR (http://scholar.google.com)

Google Scholar menyediakan layanan pencarian literatur ilmiah secara sederhana. Carakerjanya mirip dengan mesin pencari Google. Pada Google Scholar, pengguna bisa mencari artikel ilmiah, Tesis Buku, Abstrak dan pendapat dari pengadilan yang diterbitkan oleh penerbit akademik, komunitas sosial, online repository, universitas dan berbagai website. Google Scholar adalah penulis bisa mengetahui siapa yang mengutip publikasi dan

membuat profil penulis.

1. Pencarian Publikasi Pada Google Scholar

1) Masuk ke website google scholar (http://scholar.google.com)

2) Masukkan kata kunci artikel publikasi yang akan dicari, contohnya mobile computing

3) Klik salah satu artikel ilmiah untuk menuju ke website sumber artikel tersebut.

2. Melihat profile peneliti :

1) Klik salah satu nama penulis, maka akan muncul profil penulis tersebut

2) Atau search profil peneliti yang ingin dicari

3. PERPUSTAKAAN NASIONAL REPUBLIK INDONESIA

Akses ke jurnal elektronik Internasional bisa diperoleh juga melalui Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia (PNRI). Saat ini PNRI berlangganan berbagai jurnal elektronik yang bisa diakses secara gratis oleh anggota PNRI. Berikut daftar jurnal langganan perpusnas :SAGE, Taylor and Francis, Proquest, Gale-Cengage Learning, @My Library, Ulrichs- Periodicals Directory, EBSCO Host, IGI Global, Westlaw, ISEAS dan ALA Publishing

1. Mendaftar Menjadi Anggota Perpustakaan

1) Agar bisa mengakses koleksi jurnal pada PNRI, pengunjung harus mendaftar terlebih

dahulu pada di (http://keanggotaan.pnri.go.id/)

2) Masuk ke web keanggotan perpusnas (http://keanggotaan.pnri.go.id/)

3) Klik menu Daftar

4) Muncul petunjuk pendaftaran anggota yang terdiri dari persyaratan, kartu anggota,

tata tertib, hak dan kewajiban. Silakan baca terlebih dahulu lalu klik lanjutkan

pendaftaran.

5) Isi form pendaftaran, lalu klik tombol daftar

How To Use The Internet Should Be Required In this age of technology all students in the Montana University System should be required to learn Internet use, and there should be a course to teach it as a core requirement. The first reason is going to school in the twenty-first century almost all classes require some computer use. Every time you go to the library at M.S.U.C.O.T, you need to know how to go online as there are very few books anymore, and almost everything is on the Web.
Following that when you go to find a job, more and more companies are using computers. It’s getting almost impossible to find a job that dosen’t require computer skills of some sort. One of the big things is communications within the company. Most companies use electronic communications of some sort, such as e-mail or memos on line. Even the jobs people used to think of as unskilled labors such as a mechanic are using computers. All cars built today have a computer built into them. The mechanic uses it to figure out what’s wrong with your car, then a lot of time they go online to find out the beat way to fix it faster, saving time and money. Some people might say that the courses that need to have computer skills have them built into them, but I say we should get a jump on the future and have all students learn the internet. If people don’t learn it, they will fall behind in the job market and in life.
